How Your Peer Pod Works

Everything you need to know about your pod — what to expect, how to show up, and how to get the most from it.

What is a Peer Pod?

A Peer Pod is a small group of three FEHQ members — matched by business stage, current focus, and how you like to communicate. Think of it as your inner circle inside the inner circle.

It's not a group coaching programme. It's not a mastermind with a fee. It's a private space where you can be properly honest about how your business is going, with people who genuinely understand it.

The weekly rhythm

Your pod has one simple weekly prompt. Whoever wants to go first, goes first. No rota, no pressure, no right answer.

"
The weekly prompt
One thing I'm working on this week. One thing I need to stop avoiding.

That's the whole structure. You can go deeper if the conversation takes you there — and it usually does. But nobody should feel obligated to write an essay.

Weekly One prompt, one response per person. Takes five minutes. Creates more accountability than most paid programmes.
Monthly Share one pod win in the main FEHQ community feed. Optional — but it's a lovely way to celebrate each other publicly.
6 months Pod refresh point. Stay, request a new pod, or step back. No awkwardness built in.

What to talk about

Anything, honestly. Here are some prompts if the thread ever goes quiet:

"I'm about to do something scary in my business. Can I talk it through?"
"I've been avoiding [thing] for three weeks. Someone hold me accountable."
"I just had a win I want to celebrate somewhere safe before I tell the internet."
"Quick question — has anyone dealt with [thing]?"
"Honest check-in: how is everyone actually doing?"

The unwritten rules

Do
  • Be honest about the hard bits
  • Celebrate each other's wins, even small ones
  • Ask for what you actually need
  • Go quiet sometimes — life happens
  • Tell us if the match isn't working
Don't
  • Share anything outside the group
  • Pitch your products to each other
  • Perform — this is not for polished updates
  • Ghost without saying anything

If something isn't working

Pods sometimes go quiet. If yours does, try sending the weekly prompt yourself and see what happens — often that's all it takes.

If a pod genuinely isn't the right fit, message Linsey directly. Pods can be refreshed at any point, not just at the six-month mark. There's no awkwardness — it just means the matching needs a tweak.

The best thing about a Peer Pod is that it exists entirely outside the performance pressure of social media. Nobody is watching. Nobody is judging. It's just three people who get it, being honest with each other.

That's rarer than it sounds. Use it well.
