About You & Your Journey

Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?

I’m Noushky Fabius, the founder of TILIH, where gourmet hot sauce meets big personality and big flavor! Before I was bottling bold heat and turning meals into moments, I was working in healthcare as a board-certified Echocardiologist (RDCS, RVS, RVT), spending my days focused on hearts in the most literal way. Somewhere between the hospital and the kitchen, my mind was calling me toward food, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Now I’ve traded ultrasound screens for sauce bottles, bringing the same precision, passion, and care into every batch, because great flavor has the power to bring people together and make life a little more exciting!

Was there a defining moment when you decided to start your business?

When I owned my first business, Pretty Pâté, I loved making baked goods, but I wanted to create a product that went beyond a single moment. Something that people can travel with, something that makes meals better, bolder, and more exciting. I’m also very health conscious, so it was important to me that TILIH could bring big flavor without sacrificing quality ingredients. This desire to create something delicious, thoughtful, and elevating is what inspired me to start TILIH.

Who has been your biggest influence or mentor along the way?

My biggest influence has been my grandmother. She could make magic with little to no ingredients, turning the simplest things into something unforgettable. To me, she was a true magician in the kitchen.

How do you balance your personal life with running a business?

I allocate times where I work and times I don’t. Since I’m in the beginning stage, sometimes that’s hard however, I want TILIH company culture to prioritize health and time management. I must be the example of that.

Can you describe what your business does in one sentence?

TILIH is a modern, flavor-forward hot sauce brand that reinvents how spice is experienced.

What sets your business apart from others in your industry?

TILIH stands apart because it is more than just heat, it is flavor with intention. No ingredients you can’t pronounce. Every sauce is crafted to elevate everyday meals with bold, gourmet taste while staying rooted in quality ingredients and a health-conscious approach.

How has your business evolved since you started?

We made the branding reflective of the taste: unique, modern, and quirky. The product speaks for itself. A customer can see the quality without having prior knowledge of it.

How do you stay motivated during difficult times?

I remind myself of what I accomplished. I’m a big advocate of being your number 1 fan. You must congratulate yourself before anyone does. This mindset has helped me overcome stressful moments.

Are there any routines, habits, or tools that help you stay productive?

Exercising, cooking, and being one with nature. I love challenging myself in terms of hitting my goals or finding an outdoor adventure to do!

What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever received?

You create the standard and the experience of your business. Your business is reflective upon what you choose to create.

What advice would you give to someone just starting their entrepreneurial journey?

Be simple. Start off with the basics. Certify it as a business and research what exactly you want to sell or provide for your business.

Future & Vision

Where do you want to see yourself and your business in the future?

I see TILIH in supermarkets, grocery stores, and in the hands of important people. TILIH brings people together, for this reason we don’t call our customers, customers we call them Voisin (neighbors in French).

Are there any upcoming projects or launches you’re excited about?

I’m looking forward to collaborating with creators and chefs to give ideas and inspirations for how to use TILIH. I can’t wait to see the creative ideas!

What legacy would you like your business to leave?

TILIH is a product that was created to bring a premium culinary experience to homes.

What’s your go-to productivity hack or life hack?

Playing Caribbean and uplifting music while I work. I love making work fun!

At this moment, I do a happy dance, I check it off my list and I go out.
