Write for Us

Got something
worth saying?

...then stop keeping it to yourself.

We're always looking for female entrepreneurs with real experience, real opinions, and real things to say. No PR fluff. No recycled listicles. Just honest, useful writing from women who've actually been there.

This is an unpaid opportunity — but you get a byline, a backlink to your website, and your words in front of an engaged community of female entrepreneurs. Not a bad swap.

The brief

What we're looking for —
and what we're not

Business & Entrepreneurship

Starting out, scaling up, pivoting, failing forward. Real lessons from real business journeys — the unglamorous bits included.

Mindset & Confidence

Imposter syndrome, burnout, the inner critic, building resilience. If it lives in your head and affects how you run your business, we want to hear about it.

Marketing & Visibility

What's actually working right now — not the textbook version. Instagram, email, SEO, showing up without burning out. Honest takes only.

Finance & Money

Pricing, cashflow, getting comfortable with numbers, knowing your worth. The money conversations women in business aren't having enough of.

We love content that is...
  • Written from personal experience — not just research
  • Honest about what didn't work, not just what did
  • Useful, actionable, and actually worth someone's time
  • Written in a conversational, human tone
  • Between 600 and 1,200 words
  • Original — not published anywhere else first
We're not so keen on...
  • Overtly promotional pieces about your own products or services
  • Recycled advice that's already everywhere
  • Content written by AI without a human voice behind it
  • Hustle culture dressed up in motivational language
  • Pieces that feel like a press release
  • Anything that talks down to our readers
Submission guidelines

A few things to
bear in mind

01
Length
600–1,200 words is the sweet spot. Long enough to say something properly. Short enough that people actually finish it.
02
Voice
Write like a person, not a brand. We have a warm, direct, no-nonsense readership — they'll see through corporate speak immediately.
03
Originality
Your submission must be original and not published elsewhere — including your own blog or newsletter. We need first publication rights.
04
Links
One backlink to your own site in your author bio. Within the article, keep external links relevant and genuinely useful — not promotional.
05
Edits
We may lightly edit for style, length, or clarity. We'll always check with you before making anything substantial.
What happens after you pitch
1
We read it
We review pitches in batches. We read every single one — it just might take a little time.
2
We get back to you
If it's a yes, we'll be in touch with a publication date and any questions. If it's not right for us right now, we'll let you know kindly.
3
We polish and publish
We'll do any final formatting and let you know when your piece goes live so you can share it with your own audience.
4
We shout about it
Your article gets shared across our social channels and with our community. Your backlink starts doing its quiet work.
What you get in return
  • Author byline with a short bio
  • One backlink to your website
  • Social media promotion across our channels
  • Exposure to our community of female entrepreneurs
  • Potential inclusion in future newsletters & roundups
The pitch

Right then.
Impress us.

You don't need a fully written article to pitch — a clear idea and a couple of sentences about your angle is enough to get the conversation started. We'd rather have your real voice than a polished pitch that sounds like everyone else's.

"Don't overthink the pitch. The writers who get published here aren't the most polished — they're the most honest. Just tell us what you want to say and why you're the right person to say it."

The form will ask for
  • Your name & business name
  • Your website & social links
  • Your article title or working title
  • A short pitch — what's it about and why does it matter?
  • Your topic category
  • A short author bio (2–3 sentences)
  • Links to any previous writing (optional but helpful)
  • Consent for us to publish and promote your piece
